Not everything about YOUR money is black and white!

Corporate

Craig has forged mutually beneficial relationships with several professionals in the local area, including AIMS Accountants and several local solicitors, as well as MazumaMoney; these links mean that if Craig can not help with a particular aspect of your financial portfolio he will have a team of experts to recommend.

We are also happy to present seminars to groups of professionals; a seminar is an excellent platform from which to teach people about the work we do and the service we offer and proves an excellent opportunity for people to understand how they may benefit from working with us.

Possible Topics for discussion include:

 Keyman Insurance
 Group Pension Schemes and Retirement Options  Investment
 Income Protection
 Trusts and Taxation

The St. James Partnership is also able to present ‘Continual Professional Development’ seminars and then certify the hours for other professionals. If you and your colleagues would like to discuss the opportunities available to your firm regarding CPD or the possibility of a joint seminar please contact Sophie.

  •  Invest as if they are absolutely entitled to the trusts assets
  • Ensure the suitability of the investment vehicle
  • Consider the tax effectiveness of the investment
  • Ensure investments are sufficiently diversified
  • Consider the size and risk profile of the trust
  • Obtain and consider proper advice
    Regularly review the trust investments

Provision is made within the Act to charge the trust professional fees to ensure the trusts investment arrangements remain 'suitable' according to the above guidelines; therefore we have developed a comprehensive proposition that facilitates regular reviews of existing trusts in a consistent audited manner, to enable trustees to meet their responsibilities with the provision of 'proper advice.'

We are happy to work with solicitors who either act as trustees and have a significant number of trusts under management, or act as advisers to trustees.
